With winter fading away fast Belles on Bikes has teamed up with LA Harley of Anaheim to start the season off right while raising money to help 2 of our friends who were seriously injured in motorcycle accidents.
Nick was hit on his bike by a drunk driver. His arm has suffered severe nerve damage to the point that it is not functioning normally. Nick is a renowned hair stylist, this accident has brought his career and livelihood to a screeching halt. He has had multiple surgeries and has many more to come to heal his arm. Diamond went head on with an F150 at Babes in Joshua Tree. Her road to recovery has been long and expensive. She spent over four moths in intensive care in Palm Springs CA. She recently was well enough to make the journey home back east. You can donate to Diamond here: http://www.gofundme.com/fhuy20
We have a ton of awesome things to raffle off, Sapporo has kindly sponsored our event. There will be good eats from Kira’s wood-fire pizza and Madhouse Kitchen. A moto photo booth by Daniella Renee will be on site to capture an instant keepsake of the day.
We have a short ride leaving the dealership at 10 am then returning to the event. All are welcomed! Hope to see you there!
This is where is all started, Babes Ride Out Borrego Springs CA. Our friend and President of the Socal Sirens was recently published in Hot Bike Magazine for her images from the inaugural Babes Ride Out. Her beautiful images captured the freedom and radicle time we had out there. If you happened to attend this years 2nd BRO, Babes in Joshua Tree then you got to experience a little of this. 1st year was magical and like nothing I had ever experienced before, the 2nd was insane. So many women so many bikes. Take a minute and take a peek, its a funny read and nice to look at.
December 13th we ride and bring a little joy to a few kids that could use some this holiday season. We are blessed that we get to ride and have fun. Let’s give a little back. Bring an unwrapped toy and a full tank of gas. We’re going to cruise over and under bridges and up the coast for some eats at Rockin Brews. Hope to see you ladies there!!!
Yesterday we got to spend the day riding with new people on some gorgeous roads. Beulah Mae, one of the lovely the Socal Sirens planed a day of twisty roads and good times. We meet at Quaid Harley Davidson in Temecula and took off from there. The group was a lot of new faces, new bikes but one constant is that most of us were there because of this desert. A year ago a few of us met when we decided to take a chance and attend Babes in Borrego last year. And some of the ladies met at Babes in Joshua Tree this year. The one thing we all knew is we love to ride and have a good time. And this time we even let the guys come! I think some of them were surprised how many women showed up solo to just ride. A few ladies that were still riding seat candy shared stories of how they are now getting their license or shopping for a bike.
As we sat at Carlee’s talking over good food and laughter, I had to sit back and take it all in……… It was amazing. Once a group of complete strangers were know thick as thieves and planing another ride soon. I love motorcycles all makes and all kinds, cafe racers, street bikes, choppers, cruisers you name it I would ride it. I smiled so much yesterday that my jaw hurt! Come join us Nov 22 for a good time. Hope to see you on our next adventure!
